From the slopes to the turntables, jkmclaren brings a unique energy to the dance floor. A self-proclaimed mad skier with a deep-rooted passion for the sounds of house, disco, afro and tech house. The DJ journey began on vinyl in the early 90s, playing at house parties, inspired by the same classic tracks that defined iconic clubs like Back to Basics, The Hacienda, and Cream. After a hiatus, the turntables called again in 2020 that quickly reignited a burning passion. Now, he is very much back in the groove playing every Sunday on his two hour show "Soulful Sundays" - so if you like disco, house, soul funk, afro - please join us on the floor!
