Rob Murray
Leven, Scotland
Began dj-ing in the early 90s on decks and a mixer at home with good old fashioned vinyl. I then got known mostly on the rave scene, going to allnighters, meeting other djs, giving out cassettes (yes, Im from back in the day) of my mixes and sending them to radio shows.
Through this, I gained regular weekly slots in clubs throughout Fife, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Livingston and Stirling, sharing stages, booths and backrooms with the likes of ZBD, Technotrance and Tom Wilson to name a few, while also doing a lot of house parties!
Later in life, work and family put an end to those crazy times and the decks, mixer and vinyl were put into storage.
I have been putting out mixes with 4TheMusic for around three years now and more recently, as part of a collective called Ganghaus, played out live at Silverburn Festival in Fife, Scotland.
