What We Expect

Our DJ Charter is our "Acceptable Use Policy" — here are the key points:

• Reliability: Treat your broadcast slot as a commitment. Arrive ready to stream 15 minutes before your start time.
• Communication: If you can't make your show, let us know in the Discord scheduling channel ASAP (ideally 24+ hours ahead).
• Professionalism: Zero tolerance for bullying or harassment. All station communication happens in public Discord channels.
• No multi-streaming: When streaming to 4TM, please don't simultaneously stream to other platforms.
• Community spirit: Support fellow DJs, hang out in chat, and help promote the station on social media.

You'll be asked to read and accept the full DJ Charter as part of onboarding.

Subscription

4 The Music is funded by a small monthly subscription from our DJs, which covers server infrastructure, streaming, and platform costs. Payment is via Direct Debit (GoCardless) or PayPal, and you'll set this up as part of the Getting Started checklist after your application is approved.

How the Process Works

1. Apply — Fill in your details and join our Discord server
2. We chat — Tell us what styles you play and we can chat about slots
3. Get approved — You'll receive an email and can start your Getting Started checklist
4. Onboard — Upload your photo, accept the DJ Charter, verify Discord, set up your subscription
5. Go live! — Book your first show and start streaming
